The Heart & The Lion
The Painted Prayer & Co. is more than a creative business. It is a testimony of what God can do with willing hearts, open hands, and gifts surrendered to Him.
What began with a single lion painting for Joey became a reminder that God is always revealing gifts, opening doors, and writing stories far greater than anything we could plan ourselves. As I create alongside my girls, I am reminded that every brushstroke, clay piece, kit, and gathering is an opportunity to point back to Him.
Our prayer is that everything we make encourages people, brings joy into their homes, and reminds them that they were created with purpose. This is His work, His provision, and His glory. We are simply grateful to be trusted with the gifts He placed in our hands. We are perfectly imperfect, handmade with prayer, and created with purpose.
“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31

What started with one imperfect lion painting for my husband became something much bigger than I ever expected. With no prior painting experience, I picked up a brush and began discovering gifts, creativity, and purpose that I believe God revealed at exactly the right time.
Along the way, creating with my girls, hosting craft nights with my small group, and gathering with people I love made something click: this was never just about art. The Painted Prayer & Co. became a way to create, gather, encourage, give back, and share what God has been doing in our lives.
Our mission is to create spaces and crafts that encourage gathering, meaningful conversation, and spiritual reflection. We believe that art doesn't have to be perfect to be powerful; its purpose is to point back to the Creator who makes all things beautiful in His time.
